Immerse your performer in the musical theatre experience now in its 16th season!

In two short weeks, two casts (a junior high and a senior high) will prepare and perform two full-scale musicals in a Performing Arts Center, under the guidance of a professional production team, designers, and a full crew.

Script Pick-Up Day
When: June 17th: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Where: Grace Randolph
Get a jump start on your prep! Join us for a full script read-through and master classes in dance, voice, and acting to introduce the material covered during our 10-day session. Costuming will begin this day, so please fill out the costume measurement form AND the media/medical release forms found directly below by June 1st.

Eligibility Rule Ages are based on student’s age as of the first day of the intensive.
Note: All 14-year-olds will audition for the Junior High production. If necessary, select 14-year-olds may be asked to move up.

Audition Preparation

Junior High (Ages 11-14) Senior High (Ages 15-18)
Material Needed 32 bars of a musical theater song + short monologue (max 1 minute each). Material Needed One 60 second song + one 60 second monologue. Must be contrasting in tone.
Vocals & Accompaniment Accompanist provided OR use an accompaniment track. No a cappella. Vocals & Accompaniment Accompanist ONLY. You must bring sheet music. No tracks.
Dance Requirement 14-year-olds only: You may be asked to dance. Come dressed to dance. Dance Requirement All Students: You’ll head to a dance call after acting/singing.

Note for 14-Year-Olds: You must sign up for the 12:30 PM or 1:00 PM sessions to be heard by a combined panel.

Dates, Deadlines, & Links

  • May 16: In-person auditions @ Grace Church, Randolph. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your audition for your orientation. First orientation is 9:30am, for Group 1. Auditions are in 30 minute slots from 10am – 1:30 pm.
  • June 1: Media/Medical Release & Costume Measurement forms due.
  • Casting & Feedback: Please arrive at auditions with the mindset that there is always a chance that not all students will be cast.

Callbacks

If asked to stay, callbacks will follow immediately after auditions. These sessions will begin at 1:30 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.

Audition Recording

Please note that all auditions will be recorded for casting and review purposes by the production team.

Video Submissions Due May 22

If you cannot attend in person, submit an audition video (clearly marked with your full name) to the appropriate email listed below. Submissions are accepted until May 22nd. Late submissions for ensemble-only roles may be accommodated if space permits.

Preparation & Scripts

Scripts will be delivered on our Production Preview day. Campers are expected to memorize their lines and songs prior to the first day of the intensive on July 20th.
