Summer Musical Theater Intensives

Immerse your performer in the musical theater experience

…at our 2025 Musical Theater Summer Intensive, now in its 15th season!

In two short weeks, two casts (a junior high and a senior high) will prepare and perform two full-production musicals in a performance center,  under the guidance of a professional director and choreographer, along with a full crew –  including set designer, stage manager, prop manager, and costume coordinator.

Get a jump start on your prep for our musical theater intensive by joining us for a script read-through and master classes in dance, voice, and acting that will introduce you to the material that will be covered over our 10 day session. Costume measurements will also be taken at this time.


Program Eligibility:

  • Junior High (ages 11-14)
  • Senior High, including seniors who graduate in 2025 (ages 14-18)
  • Eligibility based on their age as of the first day of camp

Practice and Performance Location: 

  • County College of Morris, Randolph NJ


When:

  • Script pickup and masterclass: June 25th at Grace Church Randolph Campus 9am-3pm
  • Camp: July 21 – August 3 (2 weeks, full days) – date may be subject to change due to the needs of the venue
  • Junior High Performances: (Friday) August 1 at 7 PM & (Saturday) August 2 at 2:00 pm
  • Senior High Performances: (Saturday) August 2 at 7:00 pm & (Sunday) August 3 at 2:00 pm

  • Registration: $693 (includes audition fee. Can be paid in 3 monthly installments)

Preparation:

  • Auditions will be required to obtain roles in the final performances. Sign up for an audition slot here
  • Students should prepare a short (30-60 second) monologue and approximately 16 bars (or 1 verse and 1 chorus) of a song.  An accompanist will be provided at in-person auditions in Randolph and Somerset. If students cannot attend on that day, they can submit audition videos, clearly marked with the student’s full name to auditions@faithcenterarts.org.
  • Audition forms and video submissions will be accepted until June 3.  Students may be able to audition late if they want to be in the ensemble only, and we will accommodate them if we’re able. Callbacks will be done on an as-needed basis, students will be informed if a callback is necessary.
  • Complete and submit both the Media and Medical Release Form and the Measurement Form by July 1.  
  • Scripts will be delivered to campers about a month before camp begins. Campers are expected to learn the script and songs prior to camp.
