Terms & Policies

These policies explain Faith Center for the Arts registration, tuition, payment, refund, waitlist, family service, scheduling, and program expectations. Families are encouraged to review them before registering.

Registration Agreement: During registration, families will be asked to acknowledge that they have read and agree to these Terms & Policies. Registration is not complete until all required registration steps and payments have been submitted.

Refund & Class Drop Policy

A non-refundable $100 family registration deposit and a non-refundable $10 per-class deposit are required to reserve placement in classes. These deposits are applied toward tuition.

After October 15, tuition for dropped classes is not eligible for a refund. Instead, tuition paid for the dropped class will be converted to a class credit that may be applied toward another available class during the current school year, subject to space availability and administrative approval.

Class credits expire at the end of the current school year, have no cash value, may not be redeemed for a refund, and may not be carried forward to a future school year.

Faith Center recognizes that unique circumstances occasionally arise. Families experiencing significant hardship or an unforeseen situation may submit a Family Support Request for administrative review.

Waitlist Policy

When a class reaches maximum enrollment, additional students may join the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.

If space becomes available, openings will be offered to students in the order they joined the waitlist. Families will have 48 hours to accept the opening before it is offered to the next student.

Joining a waitlist does not guarantee enrollment in a class.

When enrollment demand warrants, Faith Center may open an additional section of a class. Students on the waitlist will be offered the opportunity to enroll in the new section before registration is opened to other students.

Families who decline the new section may remain on the waitlist for the original section, but enrollment in the original section cannot be guaranteed.

Instrumental Group Lesson Scheduling

Faith Center is committed to helping students participate in instrumental instruction whenever possible. Because instrumental group lessons are offered in small groups, it is not always possible to anticipate every scheduling conflict during registration.

When a scheduling conflict arises between an instrumental group lesson and another Faith Center class, every reasonable effort will be made to adjust the instrumental lesson schedule or identify an alternative instructional arrangement that allows the student to participate in both classes.

Once registration is complete, families should submit a Schedule Conflict Form through the Faith Center Help Desk, available on the website Home Page and Member Dashboard.

Tuition & Payment Policy

Tuition at Faith Center for the Arts is annual tuition based on a 30-week school year. Registration is a commitment to the full annual tuition for all enrolled classes, regardless of the payment option selected.

Class sizes, staffing, instructor commitments, and campus planning are established based on annual enrollment. Registration therefore reserves a student's place for the full school year rather than on a month-to-month basis.

The calendar includes approximately 32–33 scheduled program days to allow for closures caused by weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Payment plans are installment payments toward the total annual tuition obligation, not monthly tuition charges. The standard nine-month payment plan begins September 15 and concludes May 15.

Tuition payments remain due according to the selected payment schedule, even if classes or performances have concluded before the final payment date.

Families who withdraw from the program remain subject to the Refund & Class Drop Policy.

Questions regarding tuition balances should be submitted through the Faith Center Help Desk on the website Home Page or Member Dashboard.

Administrative Errors & Registration Corrections

Faith Center reserves the right to correct administrative, pricing, billing, registration, scheduling, or system errors at any time.

If an error results in an overpayment or underpayment, the account will be adjusted accordingly, and the family will be notified of any balance due or refund owed.

Families are responsible for reviewing their registration confirmation and notifying Faith Center promptly of any errors or requested changes. Faith Center will make every reasonable effort to accommodate corrections, but class availability cannot be guaranteed after registration is completed.

Family Service

Faith Center for the Arts is able to keep tuition affordable by partnering with enrolled families to support the operation of each campus. Because instructors are actively teaching throughout the day, many important responsibilities are fulfilled by parent volunteers.

Each enrolled family is asked to participate in Family Service during the school year. Service opportunities vary by campus and may include hall monitoring, welcome or sign-in tables, classroom assistance, setup and cleanup, event support, and other campus needs.

Families will have the opportunity to select from available service roles and schedules. By serving together, families help maintain a safe and welcoming environment while keeping program costs lower for everyone.

Program Expectations

Students are expected to treat instructors, staff members, volunteers, and fellow students with respect and to help maintain a positive learning environment.

Faith Center for the Arts reserves the right to adjust schedules, classes, instructors, enrollment, or services when necessary.

Faith Center reserves the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment.

Faith Center may discontinue enrollment or services at its discretion in cases involving inappropriate conduct, non-payment, or violation of program policies.

Faith Center for the Arts respects the privacy of its families. Information collected during registration is used for enrollment, communication, billing, program management, and school operations.

Faith Center does not sell private family information or provide it to third parties for direct-mail or advertising purposes.
